Based in Colorado Springs, Ziggi’s Coffee offers one of the best coffees in town. After the growth of the brand throughout the Northern Colorado region and beyond, has signed an agreement to bring additional units to Colorado Springs.
Couple-Friends turned Business-Partners
This deal was made between two couples who are long-time friends, Melissa and Serafin Padilla and Annette and Fernando Verones. Both the Verones are military veterans whereas the Padillas have a background and experience in business and entrepreneurship.
In a quest to search for the perfect job opportunity that could be mainly an investment one too, they thought about buying Ziggi’s Coffee franchise. “We’ve been exploring franchises for over 10 years,” said Serafin. “We’ve done our own startups but there’s something cool about franchises and the support you receive. Coupling that with coffee, which we know is a very lucrative industry; we knew this was the way to go.”
It was the Padillas idea to start a business together whereas the Verones thought of no better option than Ziggi’a Coffee for the initiating of a business. “My wife and I love Ziggi’s Coffee and get it every time we go to visit our daughter,” said Fernando. “Once we started looking into it more, we all really loved the family approach and how connected everyone is.”
Melissa who is very pleased with Ziggi’s Coffee said that it is a perfect opportunity for franchise business as the family-oriented nature of Ziggi’s Coffee is something unique and you don’t necessarily get that with other franchises.
These two couples are planning to open up three new units as soon as possible. However, they are currently working with Ziggi’s Coffee team to identify viable real estate options in the Colorado Springs area.
