The Salad House is a fast-growing and health-conscious fast-casual restaurant brand famous for its delectable and customizable salad recipes. With existing locations in Millburn, Morristown, and Westfield, the New-Jersey based franchise is set to spread its wings in the newest location of Montclair.
The first Franchise
Jarrod Bravo and Jon Pekyurek are the two individuals who will jointly own and operate the new location at 18 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair. The people of this town are in for a lip-smacking experience with delicious, customizable salad dishes ready to be served. Though primarily a pick-up and delivery concept, the restaurant will have eight tables for outdoor dining and room to occupy over two dozen people. It will be the brand’s first walk-up and service window location.
Bravo has an inspiring story to share since he first entered the franchise as a cashier in the Millburn location. He worked his way up to being the general manager over the years and now has opened a location himself. Pekyurek, originally from Turkey, previously owned a pizzeria which he sold in order to enter franchising. On discovering The Salad House, he purchased the Millburn location, currently partnering up with Bravo for running the Montclair branch.
Jerry Eicke, The Salad House’s Director of Franchise Development, stated, “As demand for healthy food rises, knowledgeable and dedicated franchise partners like Jon and Jarrod are crucial to helping us expand The Salad’s presence.” He further said, “Both Jon and Jarrod have experience working in our concept and we are eager to see them share our delicious salads and other healthy lifestyle menu offerings with the people of Montclair.”
