Inspiration is what differentiates leaders from other individuals. The journey of a leader often starts with an innovative idea and is backed by inspiring mentors and family support. Observing the last few years’ trends, there is a rise in women leaders. Today, women are dominating the industries with unique skills and empathy towards the team. This trend indicates the cultural change the world is currently undergoing. As a result, women leaders are being a big source of inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs. Stephanie LaTorre (Founder and CEO of EGM Management Consultant) too considers her mother to be the biggest inspiration. She had closely witnessed her mother work hard and advance professionally in her career.
Inspired by her mother’s journey, she pushed herself to do well at school, college, and developed skills of organizing and self-disciplining. Early life skills helped her in developing unparalleled business skills. Following her intuitions, she started her business of providing technological services to empower various clients. “Every great decision I’ve made has been from my intuition. Many times it was even against the advice of others. But in my heart, I knew it was what I needed to do. And I’m so glad I did as it gave me the opportunity to help people around the world,” says Stephanie.
A New Visiting Card
Stephanie asserts, “A website is one of the greatest tools today’s businesses can have.” Websites are the new visiting card, irrespective of the organizations’ region, businesses, products, or services. A good presentable website makes a lot of difference, in case of building good brand value. Similarly, with the focus on the digital transformation, numerous new organizations are now marking their presence online. This trend also spiked up with the current outbreak of COVID-19, now the organizations rely more on websites.
The web design industry has seen massive growth this year due to the increased demand for an online presence. A Constant Source of Motivation
The earlier days of the pandemic was unsettling for several organizations, especially in Italy—one of the most affected countries. Stephanie shares her experience saying that she was unaware of the future of her business. She and her team still had very little information about the pandemic and so she naturally expected the worst. After a few weeks, she was able to see that this was not the case at least for her business. In fact, with the new norms of remote working, she was able to help others adjusting to working from home as she had been practicing it for years.
Taking note of the current crisis, she has further helped many clients turn their business into an online model in a short span of time. “For so many of my clients, this had a massive impact on the future of their own businesses. Knowing that I was able to help so many people helped me get through this as well,” says Stephanie. As the founder of the company, she constantly inspired the team and helped the clients in taking the right decisions with their businesses. “If someone comes to me looking for a website, I’d like to take my time and make sure that it’s not only the best move for them but also going to help them move forward. Creating a website is a great responsibility,” says Stephanie.
