A bank statement is a document which contains the account holder’s details, account details, transaction history in chronological orders, outstanding payments, etc. Banks in India provide this statement to every customer to help them track their banking activities. Checking the bank statement regularly helps a person make decisions about spending, saving, and budgeting. It also allows you to detect any unauthorised or suspicious activity promptly, safeguarding your accounts from potential fraud. It helps you avoid insufficient funds for essential payments, and positively impacts your credit score by ensuring timely payments. But, how do you get a bank statement. This article answers the question. Here, we will discuss all methods available to get an RBL bank statement.
Getting an RBL bank statement sent to your email ID every month
You can get an RBL Bank statement sent to your email ID. However, you have to first register your email ID. Usually, the registration is done at the time of account opening but, even if it was not registered, you can do it anytime. After your email ID is registered, request a regular bank statement and the bank will send the e-statement to your email ID. This document is password protected which means you can only open it when you enter the RBL statement password. This password is included in the email sent by the bank. If it is not included, you can also generate it.
How do you generate RBL statement passwords?
As mentioned above, if you don’t know the password to open your RBL Bank statement PDF, you can call the bank’s customer care from your registered mobile number to get it. The RBL Bank Statement Password will be just the four letters of your name in capital letters, (your official name which is registered with the bank) followed by your date of birth in DDMMYY format.
