Caesars Launches the Horseshoe Casino
Late November, Caesars launched the online Horseshoe Casino in New Jersey. The iconic land-based casino brand has now opened in five states and is New Jersey’s 30th online casino brand. According to a press release, the network has been “developed for the seasoned casino player” and builds on the Horseshoe’s “exceptional gaming experiences.”
With the online Caesars Palace casino long being a popular platform among these online casinos available in NJ, the Horseshoe will benefit from its owners’ strong relationships with players and game providers. The site will provide access to the Caesars Rewards program, which allows customers to accrue perks that can be claimed at Caesars’ land-based locations.
Like all online casinos in the state, the Horseshoe has partnered with an AC land-based casino to come to market. The platform has been designed with a multi-lobby layout that is modeled after real-life casino floor plans. The site offers slots, slingo, virtual table games, progressive jackpots, and live dealer titles. There is also a suite of exclusive Horseshoe-branded slot titles.
New Products Expand NJ’s Game Offerings
Penn National recently announced the launch of its Multiplayer Blackjack title, which aims to create a social gaming environment inspired by land-based casinos. The game allows players to create private tables to play alongside friends, join publicly hosted tables, and even spectate other games as they unfold.
The first of its kind in New Jersey, the game was developed in-house and includes customized emote cards to encourage user interaction. NJ’s Online Gambling Revenues Climb

In September, online gambling revenues reached $208 million, marking the first time the sector’s revenues surpassed $200 million. Including the land-based gambling market, the total September haul was over $500 million. The state is second only to Nevada in annual earnings, with $5.78 billion in gaming revenues reported in 2023.
