  • 2 cups puffed rice

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon ghee (optional)

Method:

  1. Take puffed rice in a pan and lightly roast them until they become crunchy. Be cautious not to brown them.
  2. Transfer the roasted puffed rice into a bowl and add chopped onion and tomato. Mix well.
  3. Sprinkle salt, black salt, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin powder, and lemon juice to the mixture of puffed rice and vegetables. Toss well to ensure even distribution of the spices.
  4. Add roasted peanuts to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  5. Serve the chaat immediately. Optionally, top it with ghee for added flavor. Enjoy your delicious snack!
