Fostering Brand Mission since Inception

With the team, Jargon PR strives to create a big impact—working closely with businesses to help them achieve their goal—whilst slowly building the agency’s client base.
Jargon PR specializes in the B2B technology industry that covers a wide array of sectors. These include cloud computing, security, and adtech. To date, it has acquired several agencies to scale its presence within areas and increase its expertise within various sectors.

Laurelled Leader at the Helm
Being at the helm of the agency, Simon’s primary role involves being responsible for the growth of the business through identifying potential acquisitions, and working to find new business opportunities. He recounts one of the proudest moments of his career was successfully growing Jargon PR during the pandemic. Under his leadership, the agency expanded its portfolio of clients and the team. “Despite experiencing uncertain times, we were able to increase our annual turnover,” adds Simon.
In addition to his primary responsibilities, Simon also spearheads the team of Jargon PR. Comprised of experts, the team ensures client satisfaction by maintaining regular and clear communication with each member and the clients. The agency organizes frequent calls, along with ongoing and in-depth reporting. It closely works with clients to understand their goals, whilst making strategic recommendations on the best course of action to meet these goals.
Prioritizing Mental Wellbeing
Jargon PR maintains intact productivity and motivation by keeping employee wellbeing at the forefront of its functions and operations. With six core wellbeing values—Training and Development, Working Environment, Psychological Health, Community, Physical Health and Leadership—the agency works hand-in-hand to ensure support to the team.
Additionally, the entire team of Jargon PR participates in monthly, anonymous wellbeing surveys and team calls, to discuss wellbeing and give feedback accordingly. The agency also subscribes to the CIPR’s Mental Health Hotline, with every team having weekly catch-ups with their line manager. Due to its wellbeing activity, Jargon PR was rewarded with the Silver Accreditation for Investors in People ‘We Invest in Wellbeing’ initiative in 2021.
Active Response to Digital Transitions
Simon remarks on a greater demand for digital-focused PR campaigns. Jargon PR has responded successfully to this digital transition by expanding its range of digital products. These include social media campaigns, along with ensuring that the agency’s existing services adapt to the ever-changing ways through which audiences consume their media.
The agency has recently launched a LinkedIn management service to work with clients across a whole LinkedIn campaign while ensuring everything is set up to meet the goals of the business.
According to Simon, thebroad scope allows clients to deliver regular informative posts, whilst analyzing post success to identify which posts result in a more favorable outcome.
Analyzing Latest Industrial Shifts
Over the recent years, analyzes Simon, one of the most significant changes in the marketing and advertising industry has been the shift towards digital media. Digital consumption has grown at a rapid rate over the last decade and was significantly accelerated by the pandemic. During the lockdown, traditional media was less accessible, and hence, the amount of news consumed online, including social media usage and many more, has drastically increased.
“The most notable current industry trend is the increasing demand for purpose-driven content,” adds Simon. Several consumers are now environmentally conscious, and favor businesses that focus on their sustainability strategy. As a result, it is important for companies to ensure their environmental and wider purpose-led activities are woven into their communications strategy.
Note of Conclusion: Simon’s foretelling of the Future:
In the next five years, Simon anticipates Jargon PR to grow its annual turnover in a significant manner. He envisions to achieve this by growing the agency’s portfolio of clients along with its further agency acquisition.
In addition, he also aims to enlist Jargon PR among the Top 3 UK B2B Agency in the PR Week League Tables by 2025. “This year we were proud to rank in the Top 30 of these rankings, and have set ourselves the goal to rise up through the list over the next few years,” concludes Simon.
