Assistance for Implementing Solutions
MachineQ, a company which is utilizing power of Comsat to deploy LoRaWAN has recently teamed up with CoreKinect Firm. The aim of this partnership is to offer outdoor asset tracking solutions for the inventory management. For starters, the partnership is assisting ADESA, which provides wholesale vehicle solutions to buyers and vendors. ADESA is aiming to enhance its mobile application by providing location tracking services.
Around 160 MachineQ Field16C IoT gateways and 325,000 CoreKinect tracking devices are prepared for the deployment. MachineQ will bestow gateway along with LoRaWAN cloud connectivity, for the data possessed and transferred via CoreKinect devices. The collaboration will result in providing support, comprising 7 years on a single machine.
According to Russ Richardson, executive director of sales at MachineQ, “The market is suffering from shortage of cars, and with this going on it is essential to track vehicles.” He further adds, “The accuracy of vehicle’s location will escalate the process of preparing it for the sale.” Many enterprises have witnessed failure in IoT projects. However, the recent deployment will enhance the enterprise IoT use cases, which will result in perceiving scalable solutions.
Successful Implementation for Deployment
Mr. Jacob Warton, Director of Operations at MachinQ thinks that for the successful deployment of IoT, one needs to relieve complexity and focus on the scalability. The time devoted for project planning along with analysing risk management is crucial for the successful delivery. 60 days are invested to ensure the successful running of project. This is the largest deployment of MachineQ, in terms of geographic size, gateways, devices, and payload, said Mr. Richardson. MachinQ has partnered with CoreKinect to enable the availability of opportunities in vertical market and other use cases.
