Atlantic City, New Jersey – The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league in the world kicked off their highly-anticipated 2021 season, Friday, at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The night featured ten exciting bouts, which featured a handful of massive upsets, including Clay Collard edging out former UFC champion Anthony Pettis by Unanimous Decision in the main event. In the co-main event, Marcin Held handed two-time PFL Lightweight Champion Natan Schulte his first loss in the promotion, while highly-touted prospect Bubba Jenkins announced his arrival in the PFL featherweight division by defeating two-time PFL Featherweight champion Lance Palmer.
Additionally, Brendan Loughnane provided the season’s first highlight reel worthy-stoppage by knocking out Sheymon Moraes in the first round.
