New service will support Doosan Mobility Innovation
ReadyH2, the newly formed company is a subsidiary of Fortress Solutions and Fortress UAV. The company has announced that it is launching a new compressed hydrogen gas distribution service. This new service will support Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) by providing all hydrogen fuel services to its fuel cell drone technology for drone customers and dealers.
The official announcement of the launch will come from DMI in the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show. The company is set to unveil its hydrogen fuel cell powerpack DP30 along with its customized drone DS30 in the event. The company is first in its class to effectively mass-produce hydrogen-powered drones for commercial purposes.
ReadyH2 will assist Fortress UAV who is involved in repair and maintenance drones for Doosan’s customers. Fortress UAV has been the top drone repair and maintenance company to top-level drone manufactures in the US since 2017.
Secure adoption of hydrogen fuel cell technology
The CEO of ReadyH2 and Fortress UAV, Brendon Mills said, “ReadyH2 is excited and ready to fill this void for compressed hydrogen gas in the drone market. We have conducted extensive research and invested substantial time and resources to implement and become an experienced and safe hydrogen supplier to the hydrogen drone market. Our offering is one step closer to the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell technology in the US.”
The customers and dealers of Doosan’s hydrogen fuel cell technology will able to order pre-filled compressed hydrogen from the website of ReadyH2. The tanks are the property of Doosan Mobility Innovation the customers are only ordering the hydrogen gas. In addition to this ReadyH2 will provide hydrogen fuel handling and safety training for dealers and end-customers. Doosan has engineered ultralight hydrogen tanks by the use of carbon fiber winding which is used in their HFC drone and powerpack.
