Wellesley Sports Center is now Boston Sports Institute
Steward Health Care is the largest physician-led, private, tax-paying health care network in the United States. Around 2.2 million people and 12 million physicians visit annually to the different facilities all over the country. Based in Dallas, Steward’s integrated health care model employs 40,000 skilled people at 36 hospitals and hundreds of urgent care units, skilled nursing, and primary and specialty care medical practice locations across 11 states and the country of Malta.
The health care giant has bought the naming rights of Wellesley Sports Center, which include a 130,000-square-foot facility for sports and recreation located on Route 9. It also will have a new 6,890-square-foot space within the facility that will offer sports medicine and wellness services. They named the facility Boston Sports Institute.
Steward Health Care main goal is to encourage healthy habits in communities. Brian DeVellis, President of ESG Associates and Managing Partner of the Boston Sports Institute said, “By joining forces with Steward, we are strengthening the center’s offerings and its ability to serve as a community resource for the athletes, families, and residents of Wellesley and its surrounding communities.”

Boston Sports Institute will deliver the best of the facilities for athletes in conditioning, training to avoid injuries and stay in shape for future sporting events. It will also provide assistance in any case of injury, and help in the rehabilitation process and make the athletes recover on time.
It will not only host sporting events but will give the community best in the world pro-shop, grab and go café, strength training, educational coaches and therapy experts.

The new facility certainly will be shot in the arm for Steward Health Care as it will open a new horizon for them and they will able to dissimilate their expertise in health to different fields also.
